How to view a story here
Type the username without the @ and press Get stories. Every frame that is live at that moment loads on the page, photos in one tab and clips in the other.
Frames play right here, so you can watch a whole story through without opening the Instagram app or signing in anywhere.
Stories, highlights and posts
A username pulls whatever is live in the last 24 hours. A highlight link pulls the frames saved inside that highlight, which stay up until the owner removes them.

Watching and keeping are different steps
Every frame has a save button, and the download runs through your own browser at the original resolution.
Stories expire 24 hours after posting, so a frame you want to keep has to be saved while it is still up. Our [story downloader](/instagram-story-downloader) is the same engine with saving front and centre.
What cannot be viewed
Private accounts. Only what Instagram shows the public is reachable, so an account that has to approve followers is not readable by any honest tool, and anything claiming otherwise wants your password.
Expired frames are also gone for good unless the owner kept them as a highlight, in which case paste the highlight link instead of the username.
