<iframe src="https://saveclipx.com/embed/stories?handle=username&layout=grid&tiles=6&radius=round&theme=light" title="Instagram stories" width="100%" height="420" style="border:0;overflow:hidden" loading="lazy"></iframe>
Works on any site that accepts HTML, including WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace and plain static pages. Public accounts only, and nothing signs in as you.
How it works
Paste the link or drop your file, nothing to install.
We fetch the media and pick the best available quality.
Save the result straight to your device, no sign up.
Why people use it
Files stream straight to your device. We keep no copy of the video or the link.
No sign up, no email, no tracking pixel. Paste a link and save the file.
Every tool on the site is free to use, with no daily download cap.
We pick the highest stream the source offers, up to 4K where it exists.
One paste, one click. No queues, no waiting rooms, no forced ads between steps.
Runs in any modern browser on phone, tablet and desktop. Nothing to install.
How to embed your stories
Type the username you want to show, without the @. Pick grid or story tray, light or dark, rounded or square corners, and how many tiles to display.
The preview updates as you change each setting, so what you see is what your visitors get. When it looks right, press Copy embed code and paste the snippet wherever HTML is allowed on your site.
Where the snippet works
Anywhere that accepts an iframe, which is nearly everywhere. WordPress in a Custom HTML block, Webflow in an Embed element, Shopify in a custom liquid section, Squarespace in a Code block, Wix in an Embed HTML widget, or a plain static page.
The widget is responsive, so it fills the width of whatever column you drop it into and reflows on phones.
It stays current on its own
The widget reads the account each time a visitor loads the page, with a short cache in between so a busy page never hammers anything. New stories appear without you touching the code again.
When nothing is live, the widget says so quietly rather than leaving a broken box on your page.
What it costs and what it collects
Nothing, and nothing. No sign up, no per view pricing tier, no watermark across your tiles. A small powered by link sits under the header and that is the whole exchange.
No visitor data is collected by the widget and no cookie is set. The frames stream from Instagram's own servers to the visitor.
Perguntas frequentes
Is the Instagram story widget really free?
Yes. There is no plan, no trial and no view cap. Most embed tools charge monthly once you pass a small quota, this one does not.
Do I need an Instagram account or an access token?
No. Only public accounts are read, so there is nothing to authorise and no token to keep alive.
Can I embed someone else's stories?
Technically yes for a public account, but show your own or an account you have permission to feature. Stories are the poster's work.
Will the widget slow my page down?
No. The iframe is lazy loaded and the tiles load only when the widget scrolls into view.
What happens when the stories expire?
Stories drop off after 24 hours and the widget updates itself. If nothing is live it shows a short message instead of empty tiles.
