How to transcribe a batch
Drop your files onto the box, or click it and select several at once. Each one appears in a list with its size, and you can drop any file you added by mistake.
Pick the format you want back, TXT, SRT, VTT or Word, turn on speaker labels if several people are talking, then press Transcribe all files. Each file is worked through in turn and its own progress shows on its row.
Speaker labels for interviews and meetings
Tick Label who is speaking and the voices are told apart, so the transcript reads as a conversation with Speaker 1 and Speaker 2 instead of one unbroken block of text. Where a person is clearly named in the recording, that name is used instead.
This is the setting worth turning on for interviews, panels, podcasts with guests, court style recordings and any meeting where who said what matters as much as what was said.
Save the whole batch at once
Every finished row has its own Save button, and once two or more are done a single button packs the lot into one ZIP named after each recording.
Word files open in Word, Google Docs and Pages, with speaker turns already laid out as paragraphs. SRT and VTT carry the timings, so they drop straight into an editor or a web player.
Why three files at a time
Transcription is the heaviest thing on the site, and the queue is kept to three files so nobody waits behind somebody else's afternoon of recordings.
Nothing stops you running another batch the moment the first finishes. There is no account, no daily limit of three transcripts, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.

How many files can I transcribe at once?
Three per batch. Run another batch straight after, as many times as you like, with no account and no daily cap.
Does it label who is speaking?
Yes. Tick Label who is speaking and every line is tagged, using real names when a person is clearly named in the recording.
Which formats can I save?
TXT, SRT, VTT and Word, either one file at a time or all of them together in one ZIP.
Are my recordings stored anywhere?
No. Each file is read once to produce the text and nothing is written to our storage. Close the tab and it is gone.
What about other languages?
The spoken language is detected on its own, and you can set it by hand for noisy or mixed language audio.
