Information we do not collect

We do not ask for an account, a name, an email address or a payment method to use the downloader. There is nothing to sign up for.

We do not save the links you paste to a database, and we do not attach them to you. A link is used to fetch the file list, then discarded.

Files you download

Files are streamed from the source platform through our server to your browser and are never written to storage. We hold no library, no cache and no backup of downloaded media.

Technical logs

Our hosting provider records standard request logs, which can include an IP address, a timestamp, a user agent and an error message. These are used only to keep the service running and to investigate abuse, and they are rotated automatically.

We do not run advertising networks, cross site trackers or fingerprinting scripts on this site.

Third parties

To read a link we contact the platform that hosts it, and a resolver service that returns the available file list. That request necessarily includes the link itself. We do not share anything else with them.

The source platform serves the media directly, so its own terms and privacy notices apply to that content.

Cookies

SaveClipX does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Any storage used is limited to remembering your language choice in your own browser.

Your rights and contact

Because we do not hold personal accounts or download histories, there is generally no personal data of yours to export or erase. If you believe we hold something about you, write to support@saveclipx.com and we will look into it.
