How the clean up works
Pick a video from your device, then drag a box over the part you want gone. You can mark up to four areas, a corner logo and a caption bar at once for example.
Every frame is rebuilt inside those boxes using the colours and gradients that surround them, the same idea as content aware fill in a photo editor. There is no blur, no pixelation and no black rectangle left behind.
The clip plays through once while it is processed, so a thirty second video takes about thirty seconds. Audio is kept as it was.
What it removes well
Static overlays sitting on calm backgrounds disappear cleanly, think a TikTok username in a corner, a channel bug, a stock footage stamp or a subtitle bar over a plain floor or sky.
Busy detail directly under the mark is harder. Text over a face or over fine patterned fabric can leave a soft area, so keep the box tight around the mark rather than covering half the frame.
